Japan's Disgusting Behavior Ridiculed

Pyongyang, May 11 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. newspaper Wall Street Journal carried an article and map calling Tok Islets and the East Sea of Korea.
No sooner had this report been released than the Japanese government dismissed this "unacceptable," describing it as something serious. It made much fuss, lodging a protest with Dow-Jones Company publishing the above-said newspaper.
Rodong Sinmun Wednesday observes in a by-lined commentary in this regard:
Since olden times Tok Islets have been part of the territory of Korea and the sea between Korea and Japan has been called the East Sea of Korea.
The above-said facts are mentioned not only in historic documents of Korea but in most maps made by EU and U.S. scholars after the middle age.
This goes to prove that Japan's militarist ambition to grab other's territory has gone beyond the tolerance limit.
Japan is making desperate efforts to deprive Korea of the names of Tok Islets and the East Sea of Korea in disregard of stark historical facts and international practice and principle concerning dominion over the island and the designation of sea.
