Merger of ministries needs parliament’s approval: Iran's speaker
TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) – Majlis Speaker Ali Larijani has said that the merger of ministries without the parliaments’ approval is illegal.
On Monday, media outlets reported that the cabinet has approved the merger of eight ministries into four ministries.
Larijani also said that the ministers should continue their job and the administration should submit a bill to the Majlis for the merger of ministries.
