Uprising in Arab world will spread to Europe, Americas: Ahmadinejad
TEHRAN, May 11 (MNA) -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Monday that the developments taking place in the Middle East and North Africa will spread to Europe and the Americas.
Ahmadinejad made the remarks during a press conference held in Istanbul on the sidelines of the Fourth United Nations Conference on the Least Developed Countries, which opened on Monday and runs until Friday.
“I think that these developments will spread to Europe and the Americas since certain (royal) families have been in power for more than seventy years in several countries (in the Americas). In addition, one or two parties have been in power in Europe for 150 years,” he stated.
