RF Comm Ministry Board to determine medium-term tasks

MOSCOW, May 11 (Itar-Tass) - A session of the Board of the Russian
Ministry of Communications and Mass Media is to be held on Wednesday
within the scope of the State Administration Day at Eastern Europe's major
"Svyaz-Expocomm" telecommunication exhibition. The session is to be
chaired by Communications Minister Igor Shchyogolev.
An official in the Ministry press service said, "Those present at the
session are to sum up the results of work in 2010 and determine tasks for
2011 and for the medium term".
Deputy Minister Alexander Zharov has explained that the Board meeting
will be attended by "all leading officials of the sector, both Federal and
regional. Vice-Premier Sergei Ivanov is to participate in the session and
address those present who will hear a keynote report by the Minister, and
remarks by the leaders of the legislative branch of power". An auditor at
the Audit Chamber of the Rssian Federation, who is in charge of the
sector, is also expected to take the floor.
