INDUSTRIAL OUTPUT INCREASED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ In the first four months of 2011, the total industrial output increased by 45.3 billion togrog or 8.4 percent to 583.9 billion togrog (at 2005 constant prices) compared to the same period of 2010.
The increase in the industrial output was mainly due to 0.2 percent to 5.3 times increases in mining and quarrying products such as copper concentrate with 35 percent, gold, coal and iron ore; and 0.9 percent to 7.0 times increases in industrial main products of manufacturing sector such as bakery products, bread, milk, soft drinks, sausages, alcohol, carpet, knitted goods, beer, camel woolen blanket, door and windows, combed down, sawn wood, cement, and electrical conductor wire.
