Mutawakil: Talks with UAE on wheat grant under way
SANA'A, Sep. 04 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil has said that talks wit the UAE side under way regarding the arrival of the wheat grant at 500 tons and that it will be sent on batches, the state run 26.sep.net reported on Wednesday.
The minister noted that directives of President Ali Abdullah Saleh
affirm the importance that the UAE grant contributes to reinforcing
food security and improving the strategic storage as well as
alleviating poverty.
He praised the UAE cooperation with the Yemeni side and its concern
in providing requirements of food security in Yemen.
