Rulings issued for convicts involved in Iran's university dorm incident
TEHRAN, May 10 (MNA) – Iran's Judiciary spokesperson Gholam-Hossein Mohseni-Ejei said on Monday that rulings have been issued for the convicts who had been involved in the Tehran University dormitory incident.
On June 15, 2009, a group of unidentified people illegally entered the University of Tehran dormitory, beat a number of students, damaged their property, and detained some of them.
Mohseni-Ejei said out of fifty convicted people, forty of them have either received prison sentence or fined, adding the case has been closed.
