Greater Manchester Businessman Tariq Hafeez shot dead in Lahore
London, May 09, 2011 (PPI): The brother of a Greater Manchester businessman who was murdered in Pakistan has said he cannot understand why he was a target for his killers.
Father-of-six Tariq Hafeez, from Prestwich, Bury, was shot dead as he left Lahore Airport in a taxi on Friday, BBC reported on Monday. The 45-year-old, who ran a textiles import export company, had been on a business trip.
His brother, Asim Chaudhary, said he was not aware of any grudge against him. Hafeez's wife has flown to Pakistan to bring his body back to the UK.
