STATE OLYMPIAD FOR MATHEMATICS CONCLUDED

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The State Olympiad for Mathematics successfully took place May 2-7 in Arvaikheer soum, Ovorkhangai aimag. This year's Olympiad has attracted 360 pupils and teachers of mathematics selected from the city and aimags.
A pupil of the “Olonlog” school has won a gold medal in the contest of 8th grade pupils ran among 92 pupils. He has been followed by D.Minjin from the city's 1 school, N.Gaadan (“Olonlog” school), J.Monkh-Orgil (1 school of Ovorkhangai), J.Batzorig and Gantsogt (city's 11 school).
In the contest of 9th grade pupils which held among 61 pupils, Ch.Zolboo from the city's 1 school has won a gold medal. Moreover, B.Batbold (“Olonlog” school) has grabbed a gold medal in the 10th grade's contest; and B.Batkhuyag (city's 1 school)-in the 11th grade contest.
As the final results, the city's 1 school coached by Gendensuren has become the champion. The gold medalists of the Olympiad Batkhuyag, Ch.Zolboo and Sh.Zolbayar will take part in the 52nd International Mathematics Olympiad to be held July 13-24 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
