D.DEMBEREL RECEIVES PBC'S PRESIDENT

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Parliament Speaker D.Demberel received last Friday a delegation led by Zhou Xiaochuan, the president of the People's Bank of China (PBC).
Mentioning that "China's success in overcoming the financial crisis positively influenced Mongolia's economy", he has emphasized an importance of refining a regulation of settlement and exchange of the national currencies and of creating a proper mechanism in times of widening of the Mongolia-China relations and cooperation.
He has said that a round table meeting for exchanging experiences between the central banks would have an importance, and said the Chinese side's help for financial and banking experts would be appreciated.
In turn, Xiaochuan has noted the main role of the central bank in protecting the currency adjustment from the crisis. The bilateral round table meeting held among authorities of the central banks and signing the contract of swap agreement on exchanging national currencies are important in ensuring financial stability and supporting objective economy, he said.
The Speaker has agreed with the matter on importance of banking organization in restoring a real economics.
