WREATHS LAID TO TANK
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ On May 9, the Russians people are celebrating the 66th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. On occasion of the celebration, wreaths have been laid to the monument of a tank in UB city.
This tank was a part of a tank brigade that was made at the financial help of the Mongolians during the war.
Present at the ceremony were May 9 D.Battulga, a head of the Presidential Office, L.Bold, a Defense Minister, and V.V.Samoilenko, an ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation (RF) to Mongolia, and officials from Presidential Office, the Defense Ministry of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats of Russia's Embassy.
During the celebration, Guards of honor saluted and national anthems of the two countries were played.
