AZERKIMYA TO SIGN MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION AND CONFIDENTIALITY WITH LEADING PETROCHEMICAL COMPANIES
Baku,4 September,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijan`s state petrochemical company Azerkimya is due to sign a memorandum of cooperation and confidentiality in London tomorrow with the world`s leading companies to build a petrochemical complex in Sumgayit.
This was
agreed today in the British capital during talks between President of Azerkimya
Majid Karimov and heads of Exxson Mobil, Basell, KBR, Technip, Ineos, Thyssen Krupp
and Uhde.
The project will not only allow Azerbaijan to ensure its domestic demand in
petrochemical products and mineral fertilizers, but will also make Azerkimya the
region`s leader in petrochemical production.
