Iranian writer and novelist Nahid Tabatabaii and Austrian author Helmuth Niederle read their stories during the event which was translated by an interpreter for the attendees.

At the beginning of the session, Austrian Ambassador Thomas M. Buchsbaum extended his thanks to the editor-in-chief of Bokhara, Ali Dehbashi, for organizing the night.

He said that this is the sixth night which has been held by the Bokhara magazine on German-language authors following the night for Günter Grass, Peter Handke, Franzobel, Annemarie Schwarzenbach, Max Frisch and Friedrich Dürrenmatt.
