NTB TRAVEL OPERATORS ESTABLISH LOMBOK TRAVEL CLUB
Mataram, Sept 4 (ANTARA) - A number of travel operators in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) province have established Lombok Travel Club (LTC) with its website: www.lomboktravelclub.com, director of PT Pasatama Travel and Service, H Saifuddin Zuhri, said here on Thursday.
As LTC chairman, Saifuddin Zuhri said the establishment of travel club was to help the government promote the tourist industry in the province.
"One of our objective to form Lombok Travel Club is to help the government develop and promote the tourist industry in West Nusa Tenggara at home and abroad," Saifuddin said.
He said the presence of LTC was expected to be able to overcome frequent unhealthy competition among the travel operators.
Saifuddin admitted that the travel operators frequently complained about the problems related to permit which was issued by the District and Municipal Tourist Service.
