Strengthening ASEAN+3 higher education through community engagement
BANGKOK, May 7 (TNA) - Student representatives of various universities in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are gathering at the 12th ASEAN University Network (AUN) Educational Forum in Thailand to enhance ASEAN+3 higher education through community engagement.
The event is being held at Mahidol University, Salaya and Kanchanaburi campuses, where the regional youths also participated in a speaking contest to designate topics on their countries’ educational issues and suggested approaches through which their communities can help solve the problems.
The AUN Educational Forum and Young Speakers Contest takes place around May every year for twelve times. The main feature of this annual activity is a two-week work camp comprising both academic and non-academic activities for university students in order to be engaged in the growth of ASEAN. (TNA)
