VP RECEIVES TOYOTA PRIUS HYBRID CAR
Jakarta, Sept. 4 (ANTARA) - Vice President M Jusuf Kalla symbolically received a Toyota Prius Hybrid from Director of Toyota Astra Motor Johnny Dharmawan here on Thursday.
"Thanks for this hybrid car, but it's not for my personal use, it's just for a trial," Vice President Jusuf Kalla said in his speech when inaugurating the Toyota spare parts center at West Cikarang, West Java.
The Prius was presented to the government for an introduction of energy-saving car to the public.
"So, this car is not for me personally," he said, adding that the Anti-Corruption Commission could investigate him if he had gotten the car as a gift.
After delivering his speech, Kalla toured the spare part center.
