Damlouji: Allawi visits Kuwait soon; Mulla’s statements reflect his viewpoint

Baghdad (NINA) - The official spokeswoman for the Iraqiya Slate, Maysoon Al Damlouji, said that head of IS, Dr. Iyad Allawi will go to Kuwait in the next few days.
She stressed, in a statement to NINA on Thursday that the statements made by MP Haider Al Mulla will not affect Allawi's visit to Kuwait, indicating that "the statements represent Mulla’s viewpoint, not the IS viewpoint."
She continued "although communications were made by Kuwaiti officials to inquire about this matter, but, they know the IS policy with the Arab world, especially Kuwait, which depends on establishing new relations based on mutual respect, therefore, the statements made by Mulla are completely different from the reality of IS policies and were not successful."
Damlouji said "Allawi's visit to Kuwait will work on opening the outstanding issues between the two sides, including debt file, borders and other outstanding issues in order to end them.
A statement issued by IS recited by spokesman Haider Al Mulla told a news conference yesterday that "the Kuwaiti regime till this day closes the doors to any understandings to remove Iraq from Chapter VII and UN sanctions and without justification."
