STANDING COMMITTEE'S HEAD MEETS MEDICAL SCHOLARS
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A head of the Standing committee on social policy, education, culture and science D.Ochirbat MP met Wednesday medical scholars P.Nyamdavaa, Ts.Mukhar, Ts.Sodnompil, D.Dungerdorj and S.Sonin to share views on a draft new wording of the law on medical insurance to be discussed soon at the parliamentary session.
D.Ochirbat has underlined an importance of opinions of related scholars in discussing the draft new wording because "it is vital for the people who take medical services".
The law on medical insurance regulates three kinds of relations, thus, the new wording must be able to carefully coordinate the people-hospital-social insurance fund ties, said the scholars who are members of a working group to prepare for this draft discussion.
The parties also have raised issues regarding specialized insurances, list of assistance financed by the medical insurance fund, ways of financing, payments and rule of selecting medical organizations.
The scholars have emphasized the law on medical insurance should follow the contemporary times, and agreed that is it necessary to grant financing to the medical insurance depending on quality.
