AMF grants YR 9 mln for 75 women as soft loans

ADEN, Sep. 03 (Saba)- Aden Microfinance Foundation (AMF) granted on
Wednesday YR 9.9 million for 75 women in each of Aden and Lahj a
soft loans.

In a statement to Saba, executive director of Aden Microfinance
Foundation Yusif al-Yaqubi said that the granted loans were
allocated to establish a number of small income-generating projects.

He clarified that the foundation granted during March 2007 until
August 2008 two thousand soft loans for women in the provinces of
Aden and Lahj allocated for the establishment of small projects such
as sewing, computer, hairdressing and incense making, and other
income-generating projects.
