SCWALA, USAN TO ORGANIZE TWO-DAY CONFERENCE IN
Baku,4 September,(AzerTAj) - The State Committee for Work with Azerbaijanis Living Abroad (SCWALA) and the United States-based U.S. Azeris Network (USAN) will organize in Washington a two-day international conference on Diaspora`s role in Azerbaijan-U.S strategic partnership on October 1-2.
It will bring together Azerbaijani Amb ssador to U.S. Yashar Aliyev and the country`s permanent representative to the United Nations Agshin Mehdiyev, MPs Ganira Pashayeva, Asim Mollazade, Azerbaijan`s
Consul General in Los-Angeles Elin Suleymanov, SCWALA employees, as well as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Matthew Bryza.
The conference will focus on U.S.-based Azerbaijani Diaspora`s political activity, enhancing Azerbaijan-U.S strategic partnership, energy security and other issues.
