POL: At least 30 militants killed in Northwest Pakistan
Islamabad, Sept 3 PPI: Pakistan's security forces Wednesday killed at least 30 militants and injured 35 others in fresh attacks in northwest Pakistan.
The security forces carried out an operation in Kuza Banda area of Swat valley in
North West Frontier Province on the request of
local people, the Army said in a statement.
Reports said 10 militants were also arrested in Mingora, a major city in Swat valley.
The Army used gunship helicopters and artillery to bomb hideouts of the militants.
