Qatar Takes Part in Signing Ceremony of Palestinian Reconciliation

Cairo, May 04 (QNA) - The State of Qatar represented by HE the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah al Mahmoud took part in the signing ceremony of the Palestinian reconciliation agreement, held in Cairo on Wednesday.
In his statement , HE Al Mahmoud said the State of Qatar welcomes the Palestinian reconciliation agreement, signed here today between the Palestinian factions and forces under the auspices of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
He also expressed hope that this agreement would contribute to enhancing the unity of word and rank between Palestinian brothers to achieve the ambitions of the Palestinian nation and save its national unity.
The Qatari Minister of State praised as well Egypt for its efforts to reach this agreement.
Concluding, HE Al Mahmoud reaffirmed Qatar's position in support of the Palestinian people's inalienable rights to self- determination and to an independent state with Al Quds Al Sharif as its capital. (QNA)
