Basra Governor invites Turkish companies to invest in housing and health domains
Basra (NINA) – Basra Governor, Khalaf Abdul Samad, invited on Wednesday “the Turkish companies to expand the mutual relations and invest in housing and health domains.”
During a meeting with the Turkish Consul in Basra, Ali Ridha Ozjo, the Basra Governor added “the local government grants part of its work to expanding bilateral relations with world countries and in accordance with the Iraqi constitution that allows local governments and Provincial Councils to open doors for economic and investment cooperation with different world countries.”
Abdul Samad added “we will work during the coming stage on implementing major projects in different domains, first of which is housing domain. We know that the Turkish companies possess good experience in this field and they can win these projects, especially within the work on the Basra-Istanbul railway and the approaching of implementation of the Great Basra Port.”
