UNDP, Saudi Development Fund signs MOU

ISLAMABAD, May 04, 2011 (PPI): The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Islamabad has in his statement announced that a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Saudi Development Fund and the United Nations Program for Development (UNDP), under which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide a grant of 5,397,300 dollars to (UNDP) for repairing roads, ferries and drainage channels in Khyber province (Swat region) and help in the rehabilitation process in the affected areas of the province.
The Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia reiterates that it will always stand by the side of the people of Pakistan in all circumstances.
