Azerbaijan's President signs order on providing one-time financial assistance to participants of World War II
Baku (Trend) - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on providing one-time financial assistance to the participants of World War II, widows of those killed in fights, persons awarded with orders and medals for their selfless labour on the back front, the Azerbaijani President's official website reported.
The order instructs to allocate one-time financial assistance in amount of 500 manat to the participants of World War II and in amount of 200 manat to widows of those killed in fights during World War II, persons awarded with orders and medals for their selfless labour on the back front.
The Ministry of Finance was instructed to transfer these funds to a special account of the State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan. The State Social Protection Fund was instructed to provide one-time financial assistance to the persons affected. The Cabinet of Ministers is in charge of resolving issues arising from the order.
