Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ Archers of the state selected team have won medals in the 2nd Asian Grand Prix competitions held April 21-27 in Vientiane, Laos.
The competitions have attracted teams of nine countries. The Mongolian women's team has grabbed gold medal, whereas the mixed team has won a silver one.
At the women's individual event, A.Enkhtuya has taken 4th place, and Ch.Oyunsuren has won a gold medal at the women's individual contest in the preliminary round; J.Gantogs--a bronze at the men's individual contest. The women's team has grabbed a gold medal, the men's--a silver, and the mixed team--a bronze medal.
The archers have left for Croatia to compete in the first round of the Archery World Cup Tournament to run Tuesday in Porec city.

Judoists of the selected team will in Azerbaijan take part in the Judo Grand Prix May 6-8 in Baku city. The Mongolian team will be represented by five male and four female judoists coached by Kh.Boldbaatar--Ch.Boldbaatar (men's 60 kg), B.Khishigbayar
(66 kg), O.Uuganbaatar (81 kg), N.Tuvshinbayar (-100 kg), B.Temuulen (-100 kg), M.Urantsetseg (women's 48 kg), B.Battogs
(57 kg), Ts.Monkhzaya (63 kg) and Ts.Naranjargal (70 kg).
After Baku, the judoists will compete in the Grand Slam to be held May 28-29 in Moscow, Russia.
