MPP FACTION MEETS

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ A parliamentary faction of the Mongolian People's Party (MPP) discussed Monday issues concerning agricultural raw materials exchange, a draft law on issuing governmental shares and a state policy on protection against disasters.
The faction has considered that a bill on the exchange of agricultural raw materials will play a big role in supporting herdsmen and the agricultural sector's people and in creating an opportunity to supply low-price raw materials. A related working group has added some 50 terms into the draft law, and a first consultation on the bill will run within this week.
A majority of the faction have considered that it is time to approve a state policy on the protection against disasters. Then, the faction has said it is necessary to issue a policy and a program on preparedness for accidents.
The next agenda--a bill on election--was discussed and then was decided to reconsider it.
