Masraf Al Rayan to Sponsor Lekhwiya Sports Club

Doha, May 03 (QNA) - Masraf Al Rayan (MAR) will sponsor this season Lekhwiya Sports Club, one of the top football clubs in Qatar and the defending champions of Qatar Stars League (QSL) the country's premier professional football league.
Masraf Al Rayan Group CEO Adel Mohammed Mustafawi and Lekhwiya SC football team's General Supervisor Khalifa Khamees Al Sulaiti signed the sponsorship agreement here.
MAR Human Resources and Administration General Manager Abdulla Al Mulla, MAR Corporate Relationship Manager Nasser Al Emadi, Khaled Al Attiya and Lekhwiya SC Communications Manager Adnan Al Ali were present at the signing ceremony, The Peninsula daily reported Tuesday.
Khalifa Khamees General Supervisor of the team at Lekhwiya Sports Club said, "We thank Masraf Al Rayan for sponsoring our team. This comes as no surprise to us for two reasons. Firstly, MAR is one of Qatar's most ardent sponsors, supportive of sports and secondly because Lekhwiya Sports Club, is a strong team billed to participate at the Asian Champions League," said Al Sulaiti.
"We are extremely delighted to announce our sponsorship of Lekhwiya SC which is one of the leading names in the Qatar football scene and the QSL defending champions. We have a long history of supporting sporting events in Qatar and with this support to Lekhwiya SC, we reinforce our commitment as a community bank," said Mustafawi.
