GCC Foreign Ministers hold meeting 8 Jeddah

The ministers welcomed formation of the government of national unity
in Lebanon in line with Doha agreement, They welcomed the visit of the Lebanese President to Syria and the outcome of the visit.

As regards Sudan, the ministers called for respecting Sudan's
sovereignty, unity and independence, and the voiced support to the
efforts which aims at realizing peace in the country.

The ministers expressed solidarity with Sudan and rejected the
unbalanced stand of the prosecutor general of the international
criminal court towards the country. The ministers urged the Somalian factions to work for national reconciliation.

They urged the Somalian parties to adhere to the agreements signed in
the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the patronage of the Custodian of
the two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to settle the Somali
problem.
