GCC Foreign Ministers hold meeting 4 Jeddah

The ministers reviewed the minutes of a number of ministerial
committees including their recommendations and decisions. Within the framework of cooperation between the GCC and Yemen, the ministers welcomed the measures taken by Yemen to carry out the development plan in the country.

The ministers also welcomed the proposal pertaining to strategic
dialogue with China. The ministers expressed satisfaction over the existing security cooperation and coordination among the GCC member states.

As regards combating terrorism, the ministers reiterated their
rejection to this dangerous phenomenon, and voiced support to all
regional and international efforts in this respect.

The ministers lauded the efficiency of the Saudi security organs and
their capability to foil plans hatched by the terror cells and
elements. They demonstrated support to the measures which might be
taken to pursue the terror cells and deviant elements.
