Mutlag stresses necessity of the Americans’ commitments to obligations
Baghdad (NINA) – Deputy Prime Minister, Salih Al Mutlag, stressed the necessity of the Americans’ commitment to its international obligations towards the Iraqi people before and after the withdrawal.
A statement issued by Mutlag’s office quoted him as saying “the Americans should commit to the international norms towards Iraqis before and after the withdrawal in addition to intelligence exchange and opening the dossiers that impede the reconstruction in the country.”
The statement mentioned that, during reception of the American Inspector General of Iraq’s reconstruction, David Stewart, both sides discussed means of activating the strategic agreement reached between both countries and to concentrate on holding economic and development projects.
