FREESTYLE WRESTLING OPEN CHAMPIONSHIPS CONCLUDED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, /MONTSAME/ The Open State Championships for Free-Style Wrestling took place last weekend in the Sports Complex.
Co-organized by Mongolia's Federation of Free-Style Wrestling, State Department of Physical Culture and Sports, and Genco Group, this year's state championships have openly taken place bringing together wrestlers from the USA, France, China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Taipei. The U.S and French teams have sent their first class wrestlers to the competitions.
As of the final results, the state selected team of Mongolia in men's and women's categories have grabbed nine gold, 11 silver and 18 bronze medals. The U.S team has won two gold and two bronze medals, the Russian--two gold, two silver and five bronze medals, and the French team--one gold and one silver medals.
