MAS WILL CONTINUE FLIGHTS TO THAILAND

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 3 (Bernama) -- Malaysia Airlines (MAS) will continue its flights into and out of the Thai cities of Phuket and Bangkok Wednesday and Thursday for tomorrow, however, one of the four daily flights to and from Bangkok would be cancelled, it said in a statement here Wednesday.

MAS director of operations, Tajuden Abu Bakar, said due to poor demand,
flight MH782 departing Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at
3.15pm and the return flight MH783 departing Bangkok at 5.10pm would be
cancelled.

"The passengers affected are being informed that they will be travelling by
MH789/781 departing at KLIA and Bangkok at 5.50pm and 7.40pm respectively," he
said.

Tajuden said apart from this, all other flights in and out of Thailand at
this time, would operate as scheduled.

MAS customers in Malaysia are encouraged to call toll-free 24-hour Call
Centre at 1-300-88-3000 for further information and updates.

In Thailand, passengers may contact the Phuket reservation office at
+6676213749/+6676216675/+6676234467 between 9am and 6pm.

In Bangkok, they may call +662630565-70 between 9am and 5pm or the airport
office at +6621343180 until 6pm daily for latest information on flight
schedules.
