SYDNEY (AAP)- Two anglers have died in tragic circumstances in Sydney Harbour.
The pair were fishing from rocks near Obelisk Beach, at Middle Head, on Sunday morning when one of them was washed into the sea by a wave about 10.30am (AEST).
His mate dived in to try to rescue him.
Emergency services pulled the first man, aged 57, from Narwee, in Sydney's southwest, from the sea about 11am (AEST) and tried unsuccessfully to revive him.
The body of the second man, aged 53, from Granville, in Sydney's west, was located in the water about 1.20pm (AEST).
