City experts work out plan for “Bangkok Paradise”

BANGKOK, April 30 (TNA) - World urban developers gathered in the landmark city of Bangkok this week to discuss and work out a plan on transforming the Thai capital into a living paradise--as initiated by Thailand’s revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

Deputy Bangkok Governor Pornthep Techapaiboon said that the plan to upgrade and beautify the city is also part of Thailand's grand celebrations nationwide to mark His Majesty the King's 84th birthday anniversary this year, which falls on December 5.

Experts of world leading cities from Japan, Singapore, the Netherlands and Germany, shared their experiences and helped tailor the plan during this week's seminar, also joined by a Thai Privy Councillor Ampol Senanarong and other Thai experts.

According to the deputy governor, a blueprint for the renovation and development of Bangkok will soon be completed for further action. (TNA)
