AZERI FM MEETS CUBAN NEWLY APPOINTED AMBASSADOR
Baku, 3 September,(AzerTAj)Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs Elmar Mammadyarov met Tuesday with newly appointed Cuban ambassador to the country Marcello Kabaliero Torres, press service of the Ministry said.
Mr. Torres praised dynamic development of Azerbaijan-Cuba bilateral ties.
He said Cuba is interested on strengthening of economic cooperation with Azerbaijan.
Along with politic and economic cooperation, Mr. Mammadyarov expressed importance of the expansion of humanitarian cooperation.
The sides also touched upon further consultations between the ministries of the two states and the issues to be discussed at forthcoming intergovernmental meeting.
Finally, Ambassador Torres presented copies of credentials to the FM of Azerbaijan.
