Putin to discuss theater reconstruction

MOSCOW, April 29 (Itar-Tass) -- Prime Minister Vladimir Putin will
travel to Penza on Friday to discuss the use of budget funds for theater
reconstruction and meet local theater and cinema actors.
The government press service said Putin will visit the Penza Drama
Theater where a TV link-up will be organized with other theaters of the
country.
"The main aim of the event is to consider the efficiency of the use of
budget resources for the construction and reconstruction of cultural
objects and to design new approaches to their financing in the coming
years," the press service said, adding the government appropriated 128
billion rubles for the purpose in the past five years.
