Education Ministry: 240.000 students take part in ministerial exams

Baghdad (NINA) – Ministry of Education announced that 240.000 students will take part in the ministerial exams of the scientific and literary branches of secondary schools.

Manager of the media department at the ministry, Sahar Harbi, told NINA that “the ministry, and as part of preparations for the exams, has asked the Higher Education Ministry to use its colleges and institutes as exams centers. The Ministry of Education formed sub-committees in education departments that will be in charge of providing requirements for the students. The required allocations were asked from the Ministry of Finance for that reason.”

“The number of exams centers for the intermediate schools is 1709 centers, while the centers for the secondary schools reached 947 for the scientific branch and 864 for the literary branch,” she concluded.
