SCO intensifies anti-criminal cooperation - secretary general

ASTAN, April 28 (Itar-Tass) - The Shanghai Cooperation Organisation
(SCO) widens "the area of its cooperation," SCO Secretary-General Muratbek
Imanaliyev said at the session of SCO countries' interior and public
security ministers on Thursday. He said, "all participants in the session
took note of this trend."
The conference discussed further cooperation in counteraction to
organized crime, drugs trafficking, illegal migration and intensification
of the exchange of experience in fighting cyber crimes and illegal use of
Internet resources.
Imanaliyev said there was not only "a detailed exchange of views."
"The participants in the session have worked out practical measures
for the further improvement of cooperation among the SCO countries in the
struggle against border crime," he said.
The ministerial meeting ended with the signing of a protocol
envisaging comprehensive measures in cooperation against crime.
