Sunsets 'make' most romantic evenings
London, Sept 2 (PTI) Guess what is the most romantic way of spending an evening with your ladylove? Well, snuggling up in a car to watch the sunset.
A new survey in Britain has revealed that over half of the people actually consider looking at sunsets as the most likely way to get them in the mood for romance, with top spots including a car park, a lighthouse and a steelworks.
Second in the "love list" is a candlelit dinner which is followed by sharing a bubble bath, British newspaper 'The Daily Telegraph' reported.
In fact, 30 percent of 1,000 people interviewed said that candlelit dinners were most likely to make them frisky, while eight percent opted for sharing a bubble bath later in the evening.
However, only two percent of those questioned for car giant Vauxhall Motors' survey had actually seen a sunset in Britain in the past year.
The car company has also drawn up a list of some of the best places to watch a sunset in Britain- Holy Island in Northumberland; the Great Orme in Llandudno, North Wales; the White Horse car park at Brancaster Staithe in Norfolk; Naze Tower in Essex; and Margate harbour in Kent.
Also on the list was the B3306 coastal road in Cornwall and Port Talbot steelworks in South Wales, where the shimmering effect the plant has on the sunset was described as "sensational". PTI
