Int'l forum of health resorts opens in Kislovodsk
KISLOVODSK, Stavropol territory, April 28 (Itar-Tass) -- The 8th
international forum "Caucasian Health Resort. Investments in a Human
Being" opens here on Thursday.
About 3,000 delegates from 14 foreign countries and 17 Russian regions
will take part in the forum, its organizers say. Among participants there
will be legislators and government officials, representatives from
international and Russian public organizations, businessmen, scientists
and experts in the areas of investments, tourism, education, healthcare,
sports, and environment protection.
Within the forum's framework, an international cooking festival will
be held that will feature national cuisines of Russian regions and a
number of foreign states. More than ten teams (more than 500 people in
all) will take part in the festival.
Among the forum's organizers are the Russian Federal Tourism Agency,
the government of the Stavropol territory, the administration of the
Caucasian Mineralnye Vody resort, the Federal Medico-Biological Agency,
the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the
Stavropol territory, the Russian Union of the Tourism Industry, the
Russian Association of Cookery Experts, RUSNANO, and the Moscow Interbank
Currency Exchange.
