QUAKE HITS E NUSA TENGGARA
Bengkulu, Sept 2 (ANTARA) - An earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale hit Ruten in the eastern Indonesian province of East Nusa Tenggara late Tuesday.
The epicenter of the quake which struck at 06.00 pm was located 31 km north-west of Ruteng at a depth of 126 km, the Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG) said.
There was no immediate report of casualties.
