Portuguese Moraes arrives in Yemen

SANA'A, Sep 02 (Saba) - The Portuguese coach Jose De Moraes arrived
on Tuesday in Yemen to complete negotiations with the Yemen Football
Association on singing a contract to train the national football
team.

General secretary of the association Hameed Shaibani said the
association had begun negotiations with Moraes in the past and they
agreed to pay him $ 20.000 as a month salary.

Moraes is expected to sign the contract during his current visit to
the country.

He will replace the Egyptian coach Muhsen Saleh who had a heart
attack three months ago.

Saleh traveled to Egypt for treatment but sent from there a letter
to the association telling them he would not be able to continue
training the national football team.
