RF, Ukraine, SKorea factories take part in City-'11 exhibit


VLADIVOSTOK, April 27 (Itar-Tass) - More than 130 enterprises from
Russia, Ukraine, and the Republic of Korea are exhibitors at the City-2011
exhibition that opened here on Wednesday. Companies from Moscow,
Blagoveshchensk, Krasnoyarsk, Ryazan and other cities of Russia are
displaying their novelties.
An official at the organizing committee of the exhibition has told
Itar-Tass that this year exibitors have put on view the entire spectrum of
building services ranging from the elaboration of design cost
documentation to the commissioning of turn-key projects, as well as
building equipment and modern building technologies.
Information on up-to-date energy-efficient and environment-friendly
output in the erection of low- and high-rise buildings has been prepared
for firms. Cityfolk can learn about new materials for the repair of their
flats or for country house construction.
A separate section of the exhibition is devoted to the development of
territories, the finishing of facades and repair of roads which is of
particular interest to Vladivostok-based companies now that preparations
for the 2012 summit of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation forum has
entered the concluding stage.
In line with tradition, a competitive review on the theme of
"Architecture of Primorye" wil be held within the scope of the exhibition.
The leading architects and designers, young specialists are to present to
the jury their architectural projects of residential complexes, public
buildings and comprehensive development areas that vividly demonstrate
the present-day image of Vladivostok and Primorsky (maritime) Territory
(PT).
The exhibitions is held for an eighteenth time and is a major event in
the PT building sector.
