Defence Minister condemns attacks on Navy buses

ISLAMABAD, April 26, 2011 (PPI): Defence Minister Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar has strongly condemned attacks on Navy buses in Karachi which caused loss of precious lives and injured many.

In a messages, the minister expressed his deep sorrow and grief over the terrorist attack. He said terrorists wanted to destabilize the country by creating atmosphere of fear and terror but they would not succeed in their nefarious designs.

The minister said elements involved in this cowardly act would be brought to justice. He said such acts of terrorism cannot dent the government’s resolve to fight the menace of terrorism and militancy to the end.

The minister conveyed his condolences to the bereaved families and prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed souls.
