Two moderate quakes hit Japan's Honshu


VLADIVOSTOK, April 25 (Itar-Tass) -- A magnitude 5.3 earthquake was
registered near Japan's Honshu island overnight to Monday, the Geophysical
Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported.
The quake's epicenter was located in the Pacific Ocean some 200
kilometers east of the city of Sendai, with its focus nesting at a depth
of 33 kilometers under the ocean bottom.
According to the Geophysical Service, another quake measuring 4.6
points on the Richter scale was registered near Honshu on Sunday morning.
Its epicenter was situated some 180 kilometers east of the island's
coastline.
There was no information about casualties or damages after these
quakes.
