Gergiyev suggest Russia should publish magazine about classic music

MOSCOW, April 25 (Itar-Tass) -- World acclaimed Russian conductor
Valery Gergiyev has suggested a specialized magazine dedicated to classic
music be launched in Russia.
"I have no idea whether they write classic music reviews in this
country. When I come to foreign countries with my tours, piles of papers
with reviews, comments or feature articles are awaiting me already at a
hotel room," Gergiyev said on Sunday at a news conference dedicated to the
Moscow Easter Festival.
According to the musician, classic music deserves to be written about,
whether positively or negatively. "The main thing is not to close the
subject of music. I suggest that a magazine about classic music be
launched in Russia. Let us jointly try to do it," he said.
