Oil ministry announces the fourth contracting round, Monday
Baghdad (NINA) – Ministry of Oil announced the fourth contracting round for developing oil and gas fields on Monday, April 25.
Media office of the ministry told NINA “the round includes 12 sites in Baghdad and the provinces,” adding “the minister will announce the names of the sites tomorrow.”
The ministry held three rounds for investment in oil on June 30, 2009; the second was on December 12, 2009; the third on October 20, 2010. The rounds resulted in contracting with a number of investment firms to develop oil and gas fields.
