IRCS signs deal with Swedish firm to remove landmines in Muthanna Province
Samawa (NINA) – Manager of Iraqi Red Crescent Society in Samawa said the society contracted with a Swedish firm to remove landmines in the southern provinces, including Samawa.
“The society in Muthanna Province seeks laying an educational program to provide the needed directives for the citizen about landmines and remnants of wars to minimize the casualties resulting from them,” Salah Mahdi Nuseif added.
He went on saying “we hope that during the coming few days, the Swedish firm will start its work.”
