Berlin to host exhibition of Iranian illustrations in May

TEHRAN, April 24 (MNA) -- Berlin will be hosting the first exhibition of Iranian illustrations running from May 14 to June 4 at the Neurotitan Gallery.

A collection of 54 works by 15 illustrators published in 18 books have been selected by Shabaviz Publications for the show, the Persian service of Fars News Agency reported on Saturday.

“Princess” by illustrator Fereshteh Najafi and writer Farideh Khalatbari, “The Boy Who Knew How to Count” by Nazli Tahvili and writer Hoda Haddadi, “Guard of the Sun” by Amir Shabanipur and writer Laleh Jafari, “Daddy’s Paintings” by Neda Azimi and writer Ali Naseri are among the works to go on show.

“Road” by illustrator Negin Ehtesabian, “Two Friends” by Hoda Haddadi, “Circle” by Ali Namvar, and “Journey of a Butterfly” by Morteza Zahedi are also included.

All the illustrators and books were selected by a group of experts of the German gallery over the past year.
